OWNER, ADMINISTRATOR & INSTRUCTOR
Jeanie Scott
Jeanie has been part of Fredrick and Charles Beauty College since August 1982. Throughout her career, she has worked in all facets of the college and brings decades of experience in beauty education and school administration.
She holds esthetician and cosmetologist licenses and received her Clear Teaching Credential in September 2011. Jeanie remains dedicated to providing students with a strong foundation for their future careers.
FINANCIAL AID OFFICER, ADMINISTRATOR & SECRETARY
Kendra Scott
Kendra grew up surrounded by the beauty industry and salon atmosphere. She graduated from Fredrick and Charles Beauty College in 2016 and became a licensed manicurist.
With eight years of experience in finance, Kendra helps students navigate enrollment, financial aid applications, and the administrative steps involved in pursuing their education.
INSTRUCTOR
Nannette Brannon
Nannette graduated from Fredrick and Charles Beauty College in 1988 and has built a long career in the beauty industry. She worked at B&B Salon for more than 30 years and continues to work as a self-employed stylist.
Specializing in haircuts and color, Nannette values continuing education and enjoys sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for the industry with students.
INSTRUCTOR
Aubrey Brown
Aubrey earned an Associate of Arts in Cosmetology from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California, and received her cosmetologist license in 2012.
In 2014, she opened her own salon in Orange County, specializing in haircutting, coloring, permanent waving, and formal styling. After moving to Eureka, Aubrey joined Fredrick and Charles Beauty College to share her professional experience and passion for the beauty industry with students.
INSTRUCTOR
Ella Zerlang
Ella Zerlang graduated from Chico Beauty College in 2006. She spent the next decade working in a fast-paced salon, specializing in haircutting and developing extensive hands-on experience in the beauty industry. She later became a director for a local company, gaining valuable leadership and management experience.
After several years away from the salon, Ella returned to school to earn her barber license. This journey opened the door to an opportunity to work at Fredrick and Charles Beauty College, where she shares her knowledge, skills, and real-world experience with the next generation of beauty professionals.
INSTRUCTOR
Kara McCluskey
Kara is a graduate of Fredrick and Charles Beauty College and holds licenses in both barbering and cosmetology.
Working in the classroom and on the clinic floor, Kara assists students with their educational needs and practical applications. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping students develop the skills and confidence needed for their future careers.
RECEPTIONIST
Christina Chi
Christina graduated from Fredrick and Charles Beauty College in both cosmetology and esthetics. She has returned to the college as receptionist, bringing her industry knowledge to customer service and student support.
Christina hopes to continue her education, pursue further industry licensure, and eventually become an educator. She enjoys helping students and patrons with their clinic service needs.
