Located in the heart of Eureka, CA, our college has been preparing students for successful careers in the beauty industry for nearly 70 years.
A Legacy of Excellence
Founded in 1955 by Charles Partone, Fredrick & Charles Beauty College was established with one clear mission: to provide high-quality education in cosmetology and the related arts and sciences. In May 2002, the college was purchased by Jeanie Scott, a dedicated beauty industry professional with experience across all areas of the field. Under her leadership, the school continues to thrive, producing graduates who are confident, skilled, and workforce-ready.
Over the decades, our college has helped thousands of students not only pass the California state licensure exams but also find success in salons, spas, and beauty businesses across the region and beyond.
Our Campus in Downtown Eureka
Our facility is located at 831 F Street in picturesque downtown Eureka, California—a coastal community known for its charming architecture, redwood forests, and a strong local economy built on lumber, fishing, and tourism.
The college building, custom-designed as a beauty school in the late 1960s, has earned the prestigious Governor’s Award of Design for its architecture and functionality.
