Barbering Program
Develop professional barbering skills through theory instruction, demonstrations, practical training, and supervised services in haircutting, shaving, beard design, chemical services, and client care.
About the Program
The Barbering Program combines classroom theory, instructor demonstrations, practical exercises, and supervised clinic-floor experience. Students develop barbering techniques, safe work habits, client communication skills, and professional practices while working toward the educational requirements for California barbering licensure.
Students begin with foundational freshman training before progressing to clinic-floor services and senior-level practical assessments.

Freshman Training Requirements

Freshman Training Period
